MYLO, manufactured by Israeli company Coral Smart Pool is the world’s first virtual lifeguard for residential pools providing peace of mind to pool owners with 24/7 Smart Pool AI Monitoring technology. It is installed in one corner of the user’s pool and equipped with above- and below-water cameras and a water pressure sensor.

The underwater detection camera provides real-time video to notify and provide entry alerts, pre-drowning risk alerts, and drowning risk alerts.  Notification occurs with audible alarms, which sound from wireless modules located at the pool and in the home. 

 

● ENTRY ALERTS- Once the pool remains untouched for at least five minutes, the advanced cameras and sensors instantly detect any individual approaching and entering the pool. In such instances, the technologically advanced Mylo, equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities, promptly transmits a push notification to the user's smartphone.

● PRE-DROWNING ALERTS- When multiple people are already in the pool, the device's AI-powered computer vision system can detect any individual in a state of “pre-drowning” based on their frantic movements of distress. In this situation, the user is promptly informed through a smartphone alert (including a live feed from the cameras) and audible alarms from wireless modules at the pool and in the home. 

● DROWNING ALERTS- Whether day or night (even when the pool is unlit), the system is designed to detect and visually identify individuals who remain motionless underwater for at least 15 seconds. In this case a louder alarm is activated, signaling the need for an immediate response.
